In 2020, the year Covid-19 shook our world, I was lucky enough to discover another world, that of doll-house kits. For hours, and even days on end, I could escape into the safety of this miniature wonder and allow the child in me to roam freely. From the moment an old doll of mine was placed into one of these models, I realised they would make the perfect setting for tiny stories. This is how the doll-house dioramas came to be. Since getting my own 3d printer in 2022, I often use 3d printing both for the figures that feature in my models and items that would be very difficult to reproduce in miniature scale otherwise. However, I very much enjoy the process of inventing new techniques or using new materials in the construction of my dioramas.
